    GPC students depart for Nanjing Normal University in China for intensive language and mathematics classes.

    May. 12 Author Carl Hiassen Visits GPC (Clarkston Event)
    The Writers Institute is pleased to welcom Carl Hiaasen, Miami Herald columnist and best-selling author of the novel turned movie "Hoot" for a book signing and lecture.

    Hiaasen is promoting his new non-fiction novel "Downhill Lie", about his love/hate affair with golf.

    Jun. 12-Jul. 28 Peru Study Abroad
    GPC students will spend 3 weeks doing intensive on campus courses in Spanish language, anthropology, algebra, sociology and computer sciences before departing on a two week tour of Cuzco and Arequipa in Peru.

    Jun. 16 Short term classes begin.

    Jun. 16 Financial Aid freezes credit hours for disbursement of awards at midnight.
    Students who register on or after June 25th and have valid ISIRs* (Institutional Student Information Record) as of that date will not be eligible for federal aid. Students must be registered for all parts of term by June 24th in order to receive federal aid.

    Jun. 16-17 Schedule Adjustment available for currently enrolled students in short term classes.
