The English as a Second Language Program at Georgia Perimeter College provides instruction in speaking, listening, reading, and writing for non-native speakers of English from the low-intermediate to the advanced level. The program is designed to prepare students in the language skills necessary for successful academic work. The ESL program is offered on the Clarkston, Dunwoody, and Lawrenceville campuses.

For questions about the cost (tuition & fees), go to http://www.gpc.edu/~acadaff/Schedules/fees.php3. In general, in-state students pay around $1000 to be a full-time student. Out-of-state students pay around $3300 to be a full-time student. Other fees may also apply. The costs here are only an approximation.
For questions about the school calendar (when classes start and end), go to http://www.gpc.edu/calendar/academic/.
For questions about placement testing, go to http://www.gpc.edu/~esl/placement.htm. All students must take a placement test that determines at which level they start. A certain TOEFL score does not exempt students from the placement test or from taking ESL courses. However, students may score high enough on the placement test to go directly into freshman classes.
